About
A native of San Antonio, Texas, my photography is infused with the spirit that comes from growing up in the estuary where two cultures intermingle. My love is traditional Black and White photography, though I work primarily in digital format now in both Black and White and Color. Subjects range from landscapes to people, from still life objects and found objects to the human figure. In all that I do I hope to witness to the sacred spirit that abides in each and every thing.
I live in San Antonio, with my wife, Mary, our Border Collie Fiona, and our new cat Xochi. Mary and I are both retired Episcopal Priests, interested in organic gardening, slow food movement, travel, Latin American Folk Art and culture and the spirit of the Celtic peoples. Mary is a writer, poet, retreat leader and spiritual director. Visit her site at www.MaryCEarle.com. She has written numerous books on topics of Spirituality, Health and Healing, and the Body.
I welcome the opportunity to work with models (whether novice or experienced) and with persons who just want to have their photos made. So if you are drawn to my work and want to explore in working with me, I’d love to hear from you. Please do so via the Contact Page or my Model Mayhem account.
Mary and I were humbled to be two of the 2018 recipients of the Humanitarian Award from United Communities of San Antonio for contributions to eliminating racism, prejudice and bullying and for our work to promote inclusiveness and diversity in the community.
Mary and me with our son, Jason.
